Description
If I enable archiving when the log directory exist but is empty everything works fine. new files are rolled and archived. TMP files are deleted.
If I enable archiving when the log directory contains a gz file (even only one) - then the TMP doesn't get deleted.
The above has been observed in high load (e.g. carpet bombing the appender) and is intermittent.
Still, this is critical for our customers.
